Hero Kakaktua

I do sometimes miss the 9-to-5 (actually, 6 or 7 usually lar..), but I’m so glad I’m no longer bound to a bunch of idiotic rules that even more idiotic ppl place upon me in the corporate world.

It’s true that I can be stubborn, but I’m hardly unreasonable. :P

I work well with ppl if they can be teamplayers too. Not lazy bums that keep yapping on things that don’t concern them.

When I think of freedom I now possess and how I make of my time, I’m glad.

I’m glad that I no longer need to answer to anyone but myself. (And my poor wallet hahaa!)

The slow uphill task of trudging on and moving on towards my dreams and goals no longer feel as faraway and bleak as it was before. (Couldn’t see shit when you’re piled with 3ppl’s workloads on ur back. How to look up!?)

However, I’m also glad for the opportunities to learn things that I couldn’t have learnt if I had been given the easy way out. Maybe idiots do have a little use. Somewhat. But you do have the strong achey feeling that you’d prefer them down under, inspiring cabbages  than your migraines.

It was a little hard to swallow when ppl don’t appreciate you when you;ve shown hardwork and perseverance, your ideas being rejected time and again with all the other things that’s supposedly pre-approved were questioned next. How ye have escaped the fury of my hands around thy fat neck, MrJuling!

Maybe I opened my arms a little too wide for challenges the last time. But hey, I did NOT balk.

If anything, I did whatever I could with whatever I had at that time a la Benjamin Franklin, or whoever it was who said that. I only remember that bathtime scene of Calvin and Hobbes. Lulz.

I shall perservere…!!

:D

A different set of challenges awaits.
