Fat Hopes

I was out tapao-ing lunch just now at this mixed rice place near the office and this FAT (!! obese?*) woman in front of me was holding a plate filled with 2-3tablespoonfuls of rice. Man, I felt a little bad ‘coz she got some strong resolve there to lose weight and I’ve been bitching so much about my weight gain that MrBf is kinda irritated already. Plus, my act-cute face doesn’t amuse him anymore when I insisted on eating yao char kueh last night. :/

*She’s about 110-120kg in a 5′4 frame

I felt kinda bad also ‘coz she must be so resolute in eating less, but still big-sized. Man, genetics can sometimes be a bitch to some people…

Then, I didn’t need to feel so bad liao. She was piling so much food on her plate! The rice was a ruse!!! WTF

Even told her friend, “Wah! The siew yoke is almost finished lah!” and she took ALL OF IT! There’s enough for two people to share ok! And siew yoke portions in my mind has always been pretty generous. This means, she got 3 ppl’s share. Waraooooo…

She kept piling so much food that I decided to be vegetarian today. I took brinjals, some leafy green vegie that I don’t know the name of and a big piece of jap tofu.

And no more pity for fat peeps…

Damnnnnn.. made me feel bad for her for that whole three minutes. Bitch.

p/s: She paid rm5.50 for her food btw. That’s quite a lot for economy rice when your rice is mouse-portioned ley.

    meh in the US there are so many overweight peeps, I don’t even notice them anymore. Looking at food habits during lunchhour at the office, I don’t pity the fat because they cause it all by themselves.

    actually, assam is still ok. as long not piled high plates of food and oily fried stuf when they shld tahu sendiri ler. like that woman… so lying to herself by eating less rice. so much siew yoke and curry and whatever crap she cld fit on the plate!!! i think she juz wanted to fit more dishes with less no-taste rice taking up space there. ewww
