Is patience really a virtue? Or is it a learned habit?
I used to think that patience is the thing the old and the idle have in common, those counting on it to while their time away.
I don’t know whether it’s bcoz I’m getting older now or that I haven’t much to do… but it does seem that I’m while-ing my time away. I am less content to be patient, and I am willing to bid it the time.
And it does seem like the thing to do.
I noted as well that silence can be so much the louder when you are listening for sthg else… An explanation of the reasons you ald know, but would like to ignore.
If only we knew how else to deal with all the talking, listening and saying how we truly feel.
But how honest can one be? How honest can we afford to be?
And so, the devil makes work for idle hands.

Just dropping by, you’re in my blogring, or possibly, I am in yours. Let us share. Anyhow, I would say that patients is a virtue, and something that is learned. I don’t think that patients is an instinct, something that we were born with, like our need to eat and drink and things like that. The most patient can often be the most kind. Patients leaves time to think, and make right what could be wrong if done to quickly. Well, anywho, shall let you alone now. Here’s some props for you.
Live and let die.

I agree on patience being learned. And if you don’t learn it, you will end up like ‘Sonny’ Corleone (the hothead who died) instead of Michael Corleone (the real Godfather!)
