Eh? I have a secret admirer, it seems… ;)

A nice surprise it was. Tee hee…. The collect form was calling for me in the hallway. Got a package waiting for me at the porter’s and after I signed the form, the porter said to me, “It’s the flowers right there.”

Flowers??? :P

I bursted out laughing. The fool!

Hmm… a dozen roses. Not of a singular uniform colour, but a few each of pinks, whites and reds. Not bad. :)

Papa warned us girls against guys who send flowers to woo young maidens’ hearts. And beware I shall… Which poor boy I’ve smittened sent this bunch of plants now? Should have sent me a cactus instead…or bamboo shots (at least can eat mahh…) I don’t know how to take care of flowers… I pity the roses. Won’t be spending time looking at them. They are now on the kitchen’s window sill, waiting to be given a home with their leafy stalky feets still covered in a transparent gooey mush of protective gel.

Let’s now hope that I remember to get them a vase before they grow algae or sthg, being next to Jay’s sea-monkeys I was given to babysit during the holidays. Maybe they will like it there…with the sea-monkeys as companions. Single-cell organisms to another.

(No wonder Jay likes those sea-monkeys…. More to his level of intellect,eh?)

Or maybe not…the sea-monkeys have much time on their hands, oops,tails to be filled with more intercourse than to have conversations of interest with the roses. And them roses wld be too shy, to even look away.
